Then you could be our new Electrical Engineer at Danfoss Drives in Gråsten, where we develop and produce variable speed drives, the VLT®.
Product improvement, maintenance and development
You will be a part of the Product Engineering Center, where your technical knowledge is the key. The Electrical Engineering team consists of nine skilled members and together with your colleagues you will work on product improvement, maintenance and development.
At an overall level, you will help ensuring that our products have a solid, robust design and a high level of quality throughout the entire product life span. You will both design new and redesign existing electronics with either known- or new technologies.
Whenever you are driving the implementation of your changes to the product, it will be your responsibility to secure that the level of quality is maintained – as you will do in all your work. Your tasks will include:
- Product adaptations based on design changes to our standard products, as a consequence of special customer requirements
- Continuous quality improvements based on root cause analysis of field failures and subsequent design changes
- Cost-down activities based on design changes
- Ensuring that production is running, using the right components
Furthermore, you will become responsible for EMC correct design in our team, where you must ensure a robust EMC design of the solutions provided by us. This is e.g. done by considering the impact of the solution, proposing the needed test to be done, and reviewing/approving the results. Your tasks will include:
- Participate as EMC engineer in cross-functional project teams
- Specify EMC requirements and -tests including reviewing the outcome
- Take part in impact assessment related to EMC
- Assist in EMC trouble-shooting in-house or at the customer
Experienced Electrical Engineer
You hold a Bachelor or Master degree in electrical engineering or equivalent. You are experienced within design of electronics with a focus on analog design and/or power electronics. You might even have hands-on experience with EMC testing (e.g. conducted and radiated emission) and are familiar with the basic EMC standards.
On a more personal note, you thrive on solving technical problems, both independently and together with a team, and are not afraid of jumping into new challenges. You have a holistic overview and you manage to work on several fronts in a persistent and goal-oriented manner. You are quality-minded and have a high sense of urgency. Dialogue and involvement are key tools that you master to implement strong and lasting solutions.
